First Day of School

Like everything else this year, the first day of school for the 2020/2021 school year was different.  And by different I mean not great.  Our governor decided that schools could not open for in class teaching so all my boys are "learning remotely".  This means they have to sit in front of their computers for hours everyday learning.  Not ideal by any means.  I look forward to the day our lives can return to normal.  Right now I guess I'm glad that we are healthy and safe and that Hyrum still has his job and can support our family.

Here are our "First Day of School" photos:

Emerson in his "Cloffice" the office in his closet:)

Townsend meeting up for class on the first day of school...can you tell by his face how excited he is??

Julian got to briefly meet his 6th grade teacher when we went to the school to pick up his supplies for the year.  Ms. Crackel seems like a great teacher and I hope Julian has a good year, even if it's all online.

Julian's very last schultüte.  I get the boys a special gift for the start of the year each year they are in Elementary school.  I'm glad we could keep this tradition even if the rest of the first day of school was so different.
