Hiking, Biking, Easter and a Busted Window

Some Hillsboro punk thought it would be cool to shoot out windows in various cars around our neighborhood.  Unfortunately the twins car was targeted.  We had a guy come out and fix it the next day but it was still a pain and made us mad!

The twins decided to come home for Easter weekend.  I'm so glad they are only 2 hours away and we have so many options to see them throughout the year.

Orchard Park is one of our favorite places to go for a afternoon walk

The Easter Bunny found our boys 💕

I went hiking with some friends.  The day started off pretty nice but then...

...we got caught in a rain storm!  Luckily we hadn't gone far so we just walked back to our cars and called it good for the day:)

Julian had the day off school for a teacher work day so I took him and his friend Ian Powell for a bike ride on the Banks-Vernonia trail

At the cool abandoned saw mill on Vernonia lake

These two had fun exploring the old ruins

12 miles (and a hamburger lunch later) we made it back to the car. I'm so glad Julian has such great friends:)

We explored a little walking trail in St. Helens where our sailboat is parked for the summer.  It goes by a pretty little lake that a beaver has created by building a dam.  It's fun to see all the evidence of beaver life around the lake.

I had lunch and a book discussion with some very nice friends.  After lunch we explored the Smith Berry Barn farm store, I love this place!

I went on a beach retreat with my Ward Young Women.  These ladies are so fun!

On the way back from the beach we stopped at Camp 18 for cinnamon rolls, what a fun group of girls we have in our Ward.

Someone misses her brother.  She is keeping Emerson's bed warm while he is at college:)

The Skinny Dan is back in the water for the season. We are at a new marina for this year and looking forward to exploring a different part of the Columbia River.
