North Lake Backpack Trip

August 9-10: There is definitely one benefit to having all boys and that is when their dad gets it in his head to take his sons on a backpacking trip.  I was more than happy to say goodbye and enjoy a quiet night at home while Hyrum and the boys went camping.  All though, after looking at these photos, it looks like I missed out on a very fun trip:)

Townsend and Julian.  This was Julian's first backpacking trip and even though his pack only weighed about 5 pounds he carried it the whole hike to the campsite!

They brought the fishing pole but didn't catch anything.  Still the boys had fun trying to catch some fish.  This is Emerson enjoying a peaceful morning on the lake.

Hyrum said Julian wore his batman cape the entire weekend:)
