November: Enjoying Fall Weather, Hyrum's Birthday and Thanksgiving at Mt. Hood

Our November was great. It was the first time in many months that I could be at home and just relax and not have to jump on an airplane. It was fun to just be home!

It certainly rains a lot in the Pacific Northwest BUT we also get gorgeous blue skies and fantastic fall colors!

We went for a walk in Washington Park with Jason to enjoy the fall leaves

Hyrum being silly in the Portland Rose Garden 😛

Hyrum made his own spiced date cake for his birthday...but I got a chocolate cake just in case people were too scared to try it.  The date cake was actually really good:)

Made it to Mt. Hood for Thanksgiving! It's always so great when the twins can come join us for a few days. We love having our little family all together.

The heated pool and hot tubs are still a favorite with our boys:)

What an amazing feast Hyrum cooked up for us!

Jason joined us for Thanksgiving, it's always nice to have family join us

This year our condo came with an unwelcome guest! We never caught the nut thieving mouse (it took a whole bag of pecans!) but we did get a free nights stay from the resort so I guess it wasn't all terrible.

We kicked off our Christmas season with a great concert from Portland Choir and Orchestra. They played and sang Christmas songs from around the world.

Had to stop at Salt and Straw for a little treat after the concert.

It was a wonderful, relaxing month. I got all my nativities put up and I'm ready for the festive Christmas month to begin:)
