Thankfully the pumpkin patches were still open this year...even if we did have to wear masks. I'm glad that my family had this fun little break from the day to day and a chance to celebrate this fun tradition.
Julian and I at the Sauvie Island pumpkin patch. It was a beautiful day to pick a pumpkin.
Julian with his friend Jacob on the hay ride out to the pumpkin patch
They found some great pumpkins!
I took my older boys with some friends to the "Haunted Corn Maze" They all said it was pretty lame, not really scary at all...but I think they still had fun hanging out with their friends:)
What a beautiful day to be at the pumpkin patch. We like this place because they sell fresh donuts with apple cider:)
I set up a lawn chair on the driveway and passed out candy. We didn't want kids to ring our doorbell because we didn't want to have to disinfect the doorbell every time someone came by.
On Halloween night my kids just stayed home. No one wanted to go trick or treating or get dressed up. I guess my kids are growing up. We watched some scary movies and I passed out candy for about an hour but only about 7 kids came by. Most people just stayed home this year due to COVID-19. Maybe we can be back to normal next year:)
