Snow Days!

So we went from the warmth and sun of Hawaii to a winter wonderland in Oregon.  Portland doesn't usually get much snow.  A storm like the one this past February only happens once every 5-10 years.  My boys were super excited to get out and go sledding, build a snowman and play, play, play in the snow.  Oh, and they also got 2 snow days off from school...they were SUPER excited about that!

Friday, February 7th...Snow Day!!!  No school!  The boys had their friend Abby Richards come over and they played in the snow.  They went sledding down the driveway and stomped around in the yard.  Oh, and yes, those are my kids wearing shorts in the snow.  I simply can't get them to wear pants!

We went sledding as a family on Saturday.

There was no school on Monday so we went outside and built a snowman.  I had some rotten celery in my fridge that we used for hair.  The Oreo cookies didn't last long on the snowman.  As soon as the photo was taken the boys ate them!
