November Fun

I took Julian and his friend Jacob (plus Jacob's sister Emily) to the zoo.  It was a great day to be outside!

My friend Ruth adopted a little baby boy and we got to babysit him for an afternoon.  Julian loved holding this tiny baby.  What a good kid:)

Hyrum went down to Utah for a quick weekend trip to help Oma with a few things.

A very Happy Birthday for Hyrum.  He loves licorice all sorts and I hate them so he knows I will never sneak pieces of his candy:)

Our Thanksgiving feast.  We continued the tradition of spending Thanksgiving at Collins Lake Resort near Mt. Hood.  Hyrum's brother, Jason, joined us for the feast but couldn't stay long.  Mostly we spent the weekend relaxing and eating and playing in the snow:)

After playing in the snow we always like heading into the lodge for some hot cocoa and some ping pong in the game room

THIS is really why we come to Collins Lake every year.  The hot tubs are the best!

Trip to Vegas

I went to Las Vegas to spend a week with my sister Paige because her husband had to be gone for the week.  She doesn't "really" need my help anymore but I love having an excuse to go visit those adorable nephews of mine!

We took the kids to the Vegas strip for a fun evening.  The Bellagio hotel is always fun to explore

This was a quick but very fun trip to help out my sister.  I'm so glad I have the freedom and the means to help Paige when she needs me:)
