Christmas has come and gone. I feel as though this blog is really only showing the highlights of my life because I actually do NOTHING during the day that is worth reporting. So here goes, the "Christmas" post:
The giant snowstorm of 2013! Poor Julian got so excited to see any snow on the ground he made me put his snow boots on so he could, "go play in the snow." It was gone within the hour:(
Julian and his friend Leah at their preschool Christmas concert.

After tromping around in the mud for about 2 hours we finally decided on a tree! Here we are in front of our choice. (The boys friend Grant had come along for the day)
All the boys took a turn at trying to saw down the tree. This is Townsend taking his turn.
The Christmas tree farm had free hot chocolate. A perfect way to end a cold morning outside:)
Julian decorating the tree
This is Emerson finding the perfect spot for an ornament.
Family photo in front of the tree. Oh man, it was a real chore trying to get these boys to smile for this picture!
Tuba Christmas! Each year Portland hosts a spectacular Christmas concert with hundreds of Tuba players. It was lots of fun and was a great way to get into the Christmas spirit
The "Christmas Eve" shot. This was taken after we wrapped all the gifts and laid them under the tree. The boys were so excited to see all their presents on Christmas morning. Seriously the best part of the day:)
Christmas morning breakfast. German rolls, hot chocolate, stollen and orange juice.
Christmas morning fun!
Julian unwrapping a gift
The boys on the futon with all the Christmas wrapping paper from the morning. They look pretty happy about their loot. But wait...
...Santa left one more gift downstairs by the fireplace? What could it be?
A Wii!!! Now look how happy those boys are:)
And THIS is how my boys looked for the rest of Christmas break. Playing the Wii on the couch!
The twins bought Julian this train that spells his name. He really loves it.
So that was our Christmas 2013. I love all the fun and excitement Christmas morning brings. I love watching the boys unwrap their gifts.
